The Physical Education, Health and Sports department is comprised of a dynamic duo who dedicate their time to ensuring that every student has an opportunity to learn through movement.
Through learning in this curriculum area, students will gain the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to enjoy a healthy lifestyle and to contribute to the well-being of other people, and the well-being of their community.
We make use of all resources from within the wider community to enhance students physical well-being and learning. We also involve a lot of IT in the classroom to collect evidence of student achievements.
Physical Education is a compulsory subject up to Year 10 and we offer all three NCEA levels to Year 11-13.
