The Kerikeri Satellite of the Kaikohe Christian School is situated at Waimate North and is called the Waimate North Campus. It is situated on the grounds of the beautiful and historic Waimate North School. We have two teaching spaces; Juniors work in the old school building and the Seniors work in a house which gives the class a roomy and homely feel. The school has delightful grounds which allow the children to experience a rural school learning environment similar to that their parents may have experienced in their younger days. This site, because it is very established, is graced with many large native trees, the most significant being an old pohutukawa whose branches splay out into the playground. Most children from this campus travel to and from school daily on a bus specifically for both of the Kaikohe Christian School sites. Waimate North Campus is seen as an important adjunct to the wider Waimate North community and as such enjoys excellent relationships with its immediate community. It is able to accommodate 36 students from New Entrant to Year 8.
