Maori Performing Arts & Te Ao Haka

Ko te mihi tuatahi maku ki te whakawhetai atu ki to tatou Matua nui I te rangi, ko Ia te timatanga me te mutunga o nga mea katoa. Nga mihi mahana, nga mihi aroha kia koutou katoa.

We are very proud to present our Level 1, 2, and 3 Maori performing arts course that is available to  years 11-13 but also to the year 9 and 10 students who are able to earn and bank NCEA credits for their future.  After spending multiple years as parents and teacher aides we are familiar with the stresses and pressures students can be faced with to gain credits in years 11-13. With lack of subject options it is evident that students can be sometimes limited and have extra pressure because of this lack of availability. It is a passion of ours to understand and know each student and see the potential in them and believe that Maori performing arts far transcends swinging a poi and protruding our tongues.
