THIS WEEK’S MEMORY VERSE

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from the beginning to end.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

Principles Notice

“Whaia te iti kahurangi mehemea e puohu koe me he maunga teitei”

Kia ora tatou te whanau o te kura nei,
We are now completing week 5, and progress is steady. With the change to excellence, nobody said it was going to be easy; however, overall, the students have been very obliging, and I really do appreciate the support from home.
Academia: Our NCEA students are diligently working towards completing their first unit standard, which is due in week seven. If for any genuine reason they do not complete it, they are given two weeks’ grace, and should they not finish,h they will then have to do it in their own time, as our teachers will move on to the next topic. Years 9 and 10 are progressing well. We are a very blessed kura as our priority is that our staff are looked after. In this vein, every class has a teacher’s aide to assist. This is our drive, so nobody falls through the cracks. Our new TAs in secondary are Sarah Tzikoucos, who has just completed her degree in science at Canterbury University, Tiana Paraone, who is in her second year at Massey University online, and Danielle Petera, who is interim until she moves to Tamakimakaurau in July to begin her educational journey. Very excited about our Year 1-8 heading off to their camp next week.
Ma Te Atua e tiaki e koutou e nga ra e haere tonu ana.

WHAT ARE ATTENDANCE DUES?

The Ministry of Education does not fund building related costs at our School. Attendance Dues are only used to pay for building related costs. They can not be used for any other purposes.  Paying Attendance Dues is a condition of enrolment for all students attending our School. Attendance Dues are compulsory – there is a legal requirement for parents and caregivers to pay Attendance Dues under the Education and Training Act 2020. They are not a donation.
