SCHOOL CAR PARK

NUMERACY FUN

NUMERACY WHANAU FUN COMPETITION NEXT WEEK. Prize $50 Voucher
Who: Excel and  Courage Classes.
What’s happening?: Your maths teacher will give you a short NUMERACY problem to every student present in class to complete each evening, Monday – Thursday night at home. Any whanau member can help you answer the problem. Write your best answers on the sheet and return it to your teacher the next day for marking. The winning student will have returned all the problems each following day and have the best answers overall. Prize is $50 New World/Countdown Voucher or $50 Warehouse Voucher. Don’t MISS out, join in.

Numeracy Whanau Competition: Thank you to the whanau who have been supporting their children with this week’s Numeracy Competition! I have been encouraged to hear the stories of your conversations and the rich learning that has been taking place at home as a result. We would have liked to see everyone participate each night, but unfortunately that has not been the case. But you can still all join in the adventure challenge this evening with the last numeracy problem. Hope you have fun while you work hard together!
Next week, Tuesday the Literacy Whanau Competition will begin for the week! We hope to see all Year 10 akonga and whanau giving these reading comprehension questions a really good go! Switch off the TV and phones and join in with the Literacy wero for 30 minutes.
If you have any questions or feedback about this experience so far,  please contact me, 0274915218. I would love to hear from you.  Nga mihi mahana, Yvonne Vujcich
